1. About the Service
I will provide web support services as agreed upon in our emails, proposal, or project scope. This typically includes: WordPress theme development, WordPress updates, plugin maintenance, small content edits, bug fixes.
What is NOT included: Major redesigns, large content edits including re-factored / edited images, new functionality development, or fixing issues caused by third parties or client tampering (these are billed separately).
2. Client Responsibilities
To provide effective support, you must:
Provide necessary access (WP-Admin, Hosting login, FTP login) and promptly pay for any required premium plugins/themes.
Understand that I am not responsible for data loss if you have not maintained backups or given me access to do so.
3. Payment Terms
Hourly Support: Invoiced monthly or upon completion of work. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.
Retainer/Package: Pre-paid monthly in advance. Unused hours do not roll over.
Late Payments: I reserve the right to pause work if invoices are not paid on time.
4. Liability & Limitations
I work to the best of my ability, but I cannot guarantee that your website will never have downtime or bugs.
I am not liable for loss of profits, revenue, or data, or any damage caused by hacking, server failures, or third-party issues.
My total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid me in the previous 6 (six) months.
5. Confidentiality & Data Protection
I will keep all your business data, logins, and customer information strictly confidential.
I will handle any personal data in compliance with GDPR (if applicable).
6. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 (thirty) days’ written notice.
If you cancel, you will be billed for all work completed up to the termination date.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the UK and Republic of Ireland.
